Before the apartment keys are handed over, guests must complete the short-term rental contract as required by Law 431/98, Article 1, Letter C. Additionally, guests will need to pay the mandatory tourist tax in accordance with current regulations.
The Neighborhood
Cannaregio is the largest and most populated district of Venice. It is traversed by the Cannaregio Canal, the only canal in the historic center, along with the Grand Canal, navigated by water buses. In Cannaregio, you’ll find Venice Santa Lucia Train Station and the main street, Strada Nova, which connects the station to the Rialto area.
The Jewish Ghetto is also here, a historical area where the Jewish community was required to live during the Napoleonic era. The main shopping streets are Strada Nova and Lista di Spagna, which are also popular with young people for bars and social gatherings.
Don’t miss the area with bars and restaurants in Cannaregio, located in the northern part of the district, especially between the Jewish Ghetto and Fondamenta Nuove. Today, Cannaregio is truly one of Venice’s vibrant entertainment areas.
