Ca ‘Longhi is an apartment set in a setting of tranquility, serenity and historic charm in the Castello district, a few steps from Piazza San Marco and easily accessible via public transport connections. The apartment is divided into two connected but independent spaces: on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with bathroom, a small kitchenette and garden, on the first floor there is a double bedroom, a sofa bed, a small kitchenette and a terrace. A central yet quiet accommodation in an ideal area for a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, particularly suitable for families and / or small groups, with a maximum capacity of 5 guests. The apartment has 2 recently restored full bathrooms. The property is equipped with Wi-Fi connection, sheets and towels, air conditioning and everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The Castello district is the largest and greenest in Venice. In fact, in the northernmost area you can find the Biennale Gardens and the Island of Sant’Elena, where there are also the sports fields and the city stadium. This sestiere is particularly appreciated by the residents for its tranquility, although it borders with the more famous sestiere of San Marco and that of Cannaregio. The Venice Biennale takes place every year in Castello, with its pavilions at the Giardini and the Arsenale. The main attractions are the Basilica of Saints John and Paul, the Arsenale, the Church of San Zaccaria and Viale Garibaldi, the famous street of shops and restaurants. Some curiosities: Castello is the most distant district from the mainland and is the only one that does not have a direct view of the Grand Canal. If you want to get to know the authentic Venice, this district is for you: its great treasure are its narrow streets, where you can stroll while being lulled by the calm waters of the lagoon’s canals, even if it is within walking distance of the main tourist attractions.
